Steel Dynamics announces management appointments

Steel producer and metal recycler Steel Dynamics Inc., Fort Wayne, Ind., has created three new leadership positions to coincide with the March 31, 2016, retirement of company co-founder Richard P. Teets Jr., executive vice president of steelmaking and president/COO of steel operations. Teets will continue as a member of the board of directors and serve as a consultant through 2016.

Christopher Graham will be promoted to senior vice president, downstream manufacturing group. Since 2013 he has served as a vice president of Steel Dynamics and the president of its fabrication operations.

Glenn Pushis will be promoted to senior vice president, long products steel group. Since 2014 he has served as a vice president overseeing the company's Butler Flat Roll division and six flat-roll coating facilities located in Indiana and Pennsylvania.

Barry Schneider will be promoted to senior vice president flat roll, steel group. Since 2014 Schneider has served as a vice president overseeing the company's Engineered Bar Products and Roanoke Bar steel divisions.

All three men were part of the team that constructed the company's first steel mill in 1994, and each has held various roles in the company since then.
