Steel Market Development Institute signs on as title sponsor of 2014 Texas Truck Rodeo

The Steel Market Development Institute (SMDI), Washington, D.C., a business unit of the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), has signed on as a title sponsor of the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) Texas Truck Rodeo. The rodeo brings journalists from throughout the U.S. to Texas to evaluate the nation's top trucks and SUVs. The writers recognize excellence in several categories, including selecting the year's "Truck of Texas." The TAWA Texas Truck Rodeo will be held Oct. 8 to 10 at the Knibbe Ranch near San Antonio.
