SteeloCare aerosol can wins German Packaging Award

SteeloCare, the tinplate aerosol can of the technology network Lanico, Schuler Pressen, and ThyssenKrupp Rasselstein, has received the German Packaging Award in the category of cosmetics and hygiene articles.

The can is manufactured by deep drawing foil-laminated tinplate. The foil lamination provides a brilliant surface that allows dry processing and a variety of print technologies. The surface is BPA-free and resists scratching and corrosion.

The slim manufacturing process helps make the can lightweight, while hidden inner seams allow 360-degree printing on the outside. An extra bottom piece enables the adjustment of tailored pressures, depending on the demands of the filling product.
