Triple-S Steel acquires structural steel distributor

Triple-S Steel has acquired R&S Steel, a western U.S. structural steel products distributor.

R&S has more than 70 employees at its Denver and Lehi, Utah, locations and provides a full range of products that includes wide-flange beams, structural tubing, and pipe. The acquisition raises the Triple-S inventory to more than 100,000 tons of structural steel and expands its geographic presence to five cities.

R&S will continue to operate under its existing name with the current management team led by founder Mike Rolnick.
