Ultra Tech adds two new staff positions

Ultra Tech Machinery has announced that it has filled two newly created positions on its staff.

Jim Minerovic has been hired as operations manager. He spent 10 years at Alcoa in various managerial roles and has years of experience in the implementation of production and quality systems. In this position, he manages the daily scheduling of shop floor personnel. He also is involved with the company’s ongoing quality system and drives other key initiatives, including lean manufacturing and 5S (plant organization and cleanliness).

The company also has promoted longtime employee Chris Bowe to the position of technical applications manager. In this role, Bowe provides leadership in all mechanical and electrical aspects of projects. He also devotes increased time to the expanding robot automation business. He works closely with engineering and plant personnel to ensure proper implementation of technologies.
