Wismarq expands with strategic acquisition of Prior Coated Metals

Wismarq Industries LLC, a Pittsburgh-based provider of coil coating services for metal products, has acquired the assets of Prior Coated Metals Inc., Allentown, Pa., a producer of prepainted steel and aluminum products.

The acquisition increases Wismarq’s gauge range for a variety of applications and provides value-added downstream processing and precision slitting capabilities. The company now has six continuous coil coating production lines.
