Motoman adds senior general manager for Canada plant
Motoman Inc., West Carrollton, Ohio, recently named Trevor Jones as senior general manager of Yaskawa Motoman Canada, Mississauga, Ont.
Jones has more than 23 years of experience in the robotics industry. He was a founding member of CRS Robotics, which later was acquired by Thermo CRS Ltd., a Thermo Fisher Scientific subsidiary. His positions at CRS included vice president/manager of R&D, vice president/manager of product development, chief technical officer, and vice president and business unit manager for OEM markets. He currently is president of the Robotic Industries Association (RIA).
Jones graduated with honors from McMaster University with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and management. He also attended the York University Executive Management Programme.
