OMCO president wins regional Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year designation

Custom roll forming company OMCO, Wickliffe, Ohio, has announced that its president and CEO, Gary Schuster, has been selected as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® 2013 Northeast Ohio in the distribution and manufacturing category.

Schuster joined the company in 2006 with more than 30 years of experience in industrial manufacturing. During that challenging time for the company, he formulated the firm's new growth strategy, which included the ability to respond quickly to market opportunities. The result of this strategy was a sales increase of 816 percent over the three-year period from 2009 to 2012. To support this tremendous growth rate, two new facilities were built and the company’s workforce grew by 800 employees.

Regional award winners go on to compete at the national level. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the National Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Overall Award winner, will be announced in November.
