ITT Corp. acquires Kaliburn

ITT Corp., White Plains, N.Y., recently acquired Kaliburn Inc., Charleston, S.C.
ITT Corp. is an engineering and manufacturing company that employs approximately 40,000 people and has customers in more than 50 countries. The company completed the acquisition through its wholly owned subsidiary, Cleveland Motion Controls Inc.
A manufacturer of plasma cutting systems, Kaliburn is aligned within ITT's Motion and Flow Controls group under the Controls Value Center. Its products and services are sold and marketed along with the Burny/AMC product line.
