July 13, 2004

Hypertherm® Inc. has announced that 14 of its plasma systems have received China's CCC certification. The national product marking system, which confirms that products comply with all Chinese quality and safety standards, is the stamp of approval required to import to China any product manufactured outside the country.

Receiving CCC certification are the Powermax380®, 600, 1000, 1250, and 1600; the HT2000®, 2000LHF, 4001, and 4400; the HyDefinition® HD3070® and 4070; the MAX100D® and 200, and Arcwriter®.

Established in 1989, China's Safety License System of Import Commodities (CQC) is the ultimate authority for granting CCC product certification. Its mission is to protect Chinese consumers, ensure the safety of people and property, and meet China's environmental protection requirements.
