Hypertherm presents top independent distributor award to nexAir

Hypertherm, a designer and manufacturer of metal cutting systems in Hanover, N.H., has announced that nexAir has received the 2011 Richard W. Couch Jr. Award. The award, named after Hypertherm's founder and president, Dick Couch, recognizes the top independent distributor in Hypertherm's North American region.

Based in Memphis, nexAir is an independent distributor of atmospheric gases and welding supplies. The company was selected through a ballot process involving Hypertherm’s management team, North American sales team, and customer and technical service teams. To be considered, distributors need to have independent status and support all of Hypertherm's core product lines.

The award includes a $500 donation to a nonprofit organization of the winner's choice; nexAir selected the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis.
