Plymouth Tube employee named Chicago CFO of the Year

Plymouth Tube Co.'s Dave Barnes has received the 2012 Chicago CFO Of The Year® Award, Mid-Size Private Company category. The competition was hosted by Financial Executives International (FEI)-Chicago Chapter. The award is presented to a senior financial leader who has made significant contributions to a business or nonprofit with quality, insight, and direction.

Barnes joined Plymouth Tube in 2006 after spending four years in public accounting, 22 years in carbon and alloy tube and bar production, and four years in the extruded aluminum business.

With headquarters in Warrenville, Ill., Plymouth Tube is a supplier of specialty carbon alloy, nickel alloy, and stainless steel tubing and extrusions. The company also has 11 manufacturing mills across the U.S. FEI is an association for senior financial executives in business or nonprofit organizations.
