Walter Surface Technologies celebrates 60th anniversary

Walter Surface Technologies is marking 60 years in business in 2012.

Walter J. Somers and a few colleagues opened the first office in the Montreal area in 1952. Today the company is based in Pointe-Claire, Que., in a new international headquarters and industrial center built to LEED® standards. It has locations in seven countries in North America, South America, and Europe, including the U.S. headquarters in Windsor, Conn.

Walter Surface Technologies provides abrasives, power tools, tooling, chemical tools, and environmental systems for the metalworking industry.
