Wintriss Controls agrees to acquire Honeywell Wintriss Controls

Wintriss Controls Group LLC has agreed to acquire Honeywell Wintriss Controls led by the current management team of Mark Hatch, Dick LaBelle, Andy Baker, Ashok Bhide and Dawn Whelpley. The transaction is expected to close on October 13, 2009. Wintriss Controls will continue to develop and manufacture automation and safety products for metal forming and data collection products.

Founded in 1959 by George Wintriss, Wintriss Controls has been providing electronic systems to metal stampers for the last 50 years. The current product portfolio includes SmartPAC press automation controls, WPC safety clutch/brake controls, Shadow safety light curtains, and LETS data collection software.

During the transition period, Wintriss Controls Group LLC will continue to operate out of its current location and maintain the current phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
