Mechanical Designs of Virginia adds turret punch press

Mechanical Designs of Virginia Inc., Stuart, Va., has installed an HP1500 Tailift CNC turret punch press. It has a punch capacity of 30 tons and can handle sheet sizes of 60 by 120 in.

The addition of the machine to the company's existing TRUMPF® and Weidemann punches and TRUMPF laser has increased its metal fabrication capacity threefold.
