LVD Strippit names manufacturing manager, assembly supervisor

LVD Strippit, a manufacturer of metal forming equipment in Akron, N.Y., has announced additions to its manufacturing management team.

Lieven Decloedt has been named to the position of manufacturing manager. In this role, he is responsible for leading all machine shop, assembly, and manufacturing engineering initiatives, emphasizing efficient manufacturing practices. He has held several progressively responsible managerial and engineering positions with various companies, working most recently as product engineering manager with LVD Co. nv, Gullegem, Belgium.

Michael Stanchak has been appointed assembly supervisor. He is responsible for the supervision of all machine building and assembly activities for the products manufactured at the Akron facility. Stanchak has several years of manufacturing experience, serving in roles as operations manager, production supervisor, process engineer, and ISO auditor. Most recently he was a shift supervisor with Erie Logistics.
