Red Bud hosts coil processing seminar

Red Bud, Red Bud, Ill., recently hosted a coil processing seminar that featured information on blanking, multiblanking, leveling, and slitting along with new processes for hot-roll black material. The seminar focused on teaching how to apply new technology, improve tolerances, produce optimum flatness in material, and maximize efficiency.

More than 45 people attended the seminar, which featured speakers Dean Linders, vice president of marketing and sales at Red Bud; Eric Theis, formerly of Herr-Voss and current consultant to the metals processing industry; Harold Kerns, expert in slitting and shearing; and Chris Liefer, director of sales at The Material Works and spokesperson for SCS Coil and Sheet Cleaning Technology.
