Rafter ships weld squeeze box and straightener to roll formed parts producer

Strongsville, Ohio-based Rafter Equipment Corp. has delivered an RT-3000 high-frequency induction five-roll weld squeeze box and an RT-3000 double-sided turkshead straightener to a North American custom roll formed parts producer.

The equipment is used for the production of HSLA welded seam profiles up to 3 in. square by 0.160 in. thick for an automotive application on the customer's existing roll former.

Rafter Equipment Corp. manufactures tube mills, pipe mills, roll forming machines, cutoff machines, and other related tube and pipe mill machinery.
