Attendees learn about combustible dust hazards at symposium

Dantherm Filtration held its first symposium on combustible dust at its Thomasville, N.C., headquarters in March. More than 50 attendees learned about the causes of combustible dust fires and explosions and how to prevent them. They also learned about how NFPA requirements are applied to dust collection equipment and how to avoid being fined by OSHA.
The company will offer this symposium again in the summer at its plant in Reno, Nev.
