Apache receives 2013 Safety Excellence Award

February 11, 2014

Apache Stainless Equipment Corp., Beaver Dam, Wis., has received the 2013 Safety Excellence Award from Iowa-based Dexter-Apache Holdings Inc. for the fewest OSHA-recordable injuries — six — among Dexter-Apache companies for the year. Apache also won the award in 2010.

In addition to mandating safety procedures and requiring personal protective gear, the manufacturer of heavy-gauge steel tanks and food processing equipment offers monthly cash rewards to employees when the entire plant goes injury-free and yearly cash rewards to employees with a perfect safety record.
