Avani Environmental Intl. announces scholarship opportunity
Avani Environmental Intl. Inc., Youngsville, N.C., a manufacturer of dust, fume, and smoke extraction and filtration equipment, has announced a scholarship opportunity for current welding students.
Participants are asked to weld the Avani Environmental logo in 2-D or 3-D and submit their designs in photo form on the company's Facebook page by Oct. 15, 2012. The submission with the most "likes" by Oct. 22 will be announced as the winner.
Prizes are $1,250 for first place, $500 for second place, and $100 for third place, and each winner’s school will receive fume extraction equipment. The winning design also will be featured in November in the Avani Environmental booth at FABTECH®.
