Ball Metal Beverage Container Group recognized by OSHA

The Ball Metal Beverage Container Group has been recognized by the U.S. Labor Dept.'s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) site for excellence in its employee safety and health program.

The aluminum can manufacturer was designated a VPP "Merit" site during a ceremony at the plant in Golden, Colo. A VPP Merit site maintains employee safety and health programs that far exceed minimum OSHA standards.
