ILMA signs alliance with OSHA

The Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association (ILMA), Alexandria, Va., has formed an alliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) that will help the association move forward with LubeCard®, its product stewardship program, and promote worker health and safety. The alliance is the first of its kind for the lubricants industry.

ILMA and OSHA will develop training and education programs on the safe and proper use of lubricant products. They will provide ILMA members with information, guidance, and access to training resources on working with lubricants in manufacturing environments.

Both organizations also will pursue opportunities to speak at future ILMA meetings, including the association's Spring Management Forum, Fall Annual Meeting, and LubeCare workshops.
