J. J. Keller to host Jan. 14 webcast on OSHA’s injury and illness recordkeeping rule

J. J. Keller, Neenah, Wis., will host a webcast on Jan. 14 at 10:00 a.m. CST titled “Updates to OSHA’s Injury & Illness Recordkeeping: How These Changes Apply to You.” The company’s workplace safety experts—Robert Ernst, editor, workplace safety, and Lisa Neuberger, associate editor, workplace safety—will provide an overview of the updates and answer questions about how the changes might affect recordkeeping.

The webcast will discuss industries that are no longer exempt from recordkeeping, how the rule expands the list of severe work-related injuries that employers must report to OSHA (such as inpatient hospitalizations and amputations), and other common problems that employers face.

The webcast also will review different recordkeeping scenarios to help participants determine if a case is recordable.
