J.J. Keller introduces newsletter for line supervisors

J.J. Keller & Associates Inc. has introduced "Supervisor Safety Alert," a monthly newsletter designed to help supervisors understand their role in improving worker safety awareness and holding employees accountable for safety.

The four-page newsletter provides information on safety-related issues that affect supervisors and the employees they supervise. Topics include personal protective equipment, lockout/tagout, hearing protection, hand tool safety, and hazard communication.

The newsletter also includes an employee-training handout, as well as worker safety exercises or learning activities. These materials can be used for safety talks or individual training and can be photocopied. Information for conducting safety audits, tips for motivating employees, and case studies also are included.

Along with the printed version, subscribers receive a URL for an online PDF of the newsletter that can be downloaded and printed.
