Magid announces recent award wins

Magid®, a manufacturer of safety products and personal protective equipment in Romeoville, Ill., has been recognized for new-product innovation for the third time in the ASSE Safety Attendee Choice and ISHN Reader’s Choice Awards. Its products won the following awards:

• D-ROC® high-visibility palm coated work gloves won the Hi-Viz Hand Protection category.
• Gemstone® Myst® featherweight safety glasses won the Eye/Face Protection category.
• AR Defense™ base layer shirts won the FR Clothing category.

In addition, the firm won the Illinois Economic Development Association (IEDA) award from the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes companies that are key to Illinois’ economic growth.
