Marlin Steel keeps factory floor safe for more than 2,500 days

Custom steel form manufacturing company Marlin Steel, Baltimore, Md., has announced it has exceeded 2,504 consecutive days of operation without a lost-time safety incident occurring on the factory floor. This announcement follows an OSHA SHARP safety designation for the company just a few months before.

CEO Drew Greenblatt attributes the company’s safety record to a combination of the employee-run safety committee’s efforts and the company’s adoption of manufacturing automation, which keeps employees out of harm’s way.
