SMACNA aligns with OSHA

September 14, 2004

The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA) has signed an alliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The alliance will address fall protection, motor vehicle safety, and personal protective equipment, with an emphasis on cuts and eye injuries. It also focuses on issues impacting Hispanic workers and small businesses.

Both organizations have agreed to develop information, guidance, and access to training resources on the issues and to provide expertise in communicating the information to member employers and their workers.
