The Dupps Co. receives FMA’s 2015 Rusty Demeules Award for Safety Excellence

The Dupps Co., Germantown, Ohio, has been named as the winner of the 2015 Rusty Demeules Award for Safety Excellence. The award, presented by the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association Intl. (FMA), Rockford, Ill., and sponsored by CNA Insurance Companies, was created by FMA’s Safety Council to recognize a company with a demonstrated safety culture. It is named in honor of Demeules, a significant volunteer contributor to FMA, who was president of the FMA Safety Committee from its inception in 1989 until 1996.

The Dupps Co. is a family-run business that designs, builds, and installs process equipment and systems. The firm has had no lost-time injuries in its heavy industrial manufacturing facility in more than eight years.

The company will be honored at a dinner ceremony during FMA’s annual Safety Conference, to be held April 22-23 at Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West in Plymouth, Minn.
