Sandmeyer Steel hires district sales manager for Canada

Sandmeyer Steel Co., Philadelphia, a producer of stainless steel and nickel alloy plate products, has named Melanie Mitchell as district sales manager for Canada, replacing the retiring Adam Paterson, who served as the company’s manufacturer’s representative in Canada for more than 10 years.

Mitchell has almost 15 years of sales experience in metal industries. She most recently worked at Crawford Metal Corp., maintaining an account base of existing clients while developing new markets and identifying potential clients. She holds a bachelor/master degree from the University of Ottawa.
