Simonds Intl. announces agreement with Cal Saw Canada

Simonds Intl., Fitchburg, Mass., and Cal Saw Canada have announced an agreement for Simonds to purchase Cal Saw Canada's wide band saw manufacturing assets and circular saw finishing assets located in Langley, B.C. Simonds will continue to provide these products.
Since this agreement does not affect Cal Saw in San Francisco, California Saw & Knife Works will continue to provide specialty circular saws, such as stainless steel saws and variable-thickness saws, directly to the Canadian market.
