Starrett Co. names saw division sales manager

Brian J. Rooke has joined the L.S. Starrett Co. as the North American sales manager of its Saw Division. He works with the company's regional and field sales organizations and distributor network in product and program development.

Rooke's career includes more than 19 years' management experience. He previously worked for Saint-Gobain Industrial Ceramics, where he managed the Nonfused Seeded Gel Grains business; Norton Abrasives, where he held various marketing and sales management positions; and American Saw & Manufacturing Co.

Rooke has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from St. Michael's College. He attended the Consortium for Executive Development at Babson College School of Executive Training.
