Steel fabrication available from Manchester Tool & Die

Manchester Tool & Die Inc., North Manchester, Ind., has opened a new fabricating plant that offers steel fabrication services. The plant is equipped with two brake presses with capacities of 3/8 in. by 6 ft., 5/16 in. by 8 ft., and 1/4 in. by 10 ft., as well as a GMAW machine for custom and production welding. A plasma table and large slip plate metal roll also are being added to the equipment line.

The new services provide shearing capacities of 10 ft. long and 1/4 in. thick, and the plasma table will be able to cut materials up to 2 in. thick. The slip plate roll will have a capacity of 3/8 in. by 6 ft. A smaller roll currently is in-house for smaller fabrication jobs. Straight trucks and a gooseneck trailer are available for pickup and delivery needs.
