Element Materials Technology acquires Sherry Laboratories

Element Materials Technology, Amsterdam, has announced the acquisition of Sherry Laboratories, an independent materials testing business in Daleville, Ind. The acquisition adds nearly 300 specialized staff members and 10 facilities to the company's existing network of 30 laboratories.

The acquisition reinforces Element's objective to provide materials testing service focused specifically on the aerospace, oil and gas, transportation, and power-generation sectors.
