AAK sells Binol biolubricants business to Quaker Chemical

AAK, Karlshamn, Sweden, has decided to sell its biolubricants business Binol to Quaker Chemical, Conshohocken, Pa., a provider of process fluids and chemical specialties.

Binol has for many years been run as an autonomous entity within AAK with its own sales force, product development, logistics setup, and administration. It does not have any common customers with AAK’s other businesses.

Binol and its 19 employees remain at the Karlshamn facility.
