Alcom to open manufacturing facility in Montana

Alcom LLC has signed a lease to establish a new, 70,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in Bonner, Mont. Production of hand-built aluminum trailers is expected to begin in early 2013. The company expects to employ about 60 workers initially, expanding to 200 within the first two years of operation.

The company, which employs about 200 workers at its 70,000-sq.-ft. facility in Winslow, Maine, produces trailer sizes from mini-trailers that attach to all-terrain vehicles to large, enclosed car trailers.
