Ambrell to host induction heating webinar March 30
Ambrell, a manufacturer of induction heating systems based in Scottsville, N.Y., will offer a complimentary Ambrell PRO SkillsTM webinar on March 30 at 2:00 p.m. EDT. Dr. Girish Dahake, Ambrell’s senior vice president, global applications, will host the session on induction heating fundamentals.
The webinar will review sources of heat, induction theory, coupling of the workpiece, frequency of operation, power calculations, and simulation problems. Dahake will provide practical examples from his 20 years of induction experience throughout the course. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions. The course is suitable for anyone thinking about using induction or someone currently using it who would like to learn more theory.
Dahake holds patents, has authored numerous papers, and frequently presents at professional conferences. He has a PhD in mechanical and aerospace engineering from the University of Rochester.
