American Metal Roofs helps feed 300 local families through food distribution program

American Metal Roofs (AMR), a Flint, Mich.-based provider of residential and commercial metal roofing products and services, helped feed 300 Michigan families as part of the Companies Feeding Families food distribution program. Facilitated by the Flushing Community Church and the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, AMR sponsored a food distribution program designed to help families in need of assistance.

As a sponsor of this program, AMR purchased a truckload of food and participated in the distribution of food to hundreds of people. The distribution team, comprising AMR owner Frank Farmer and 20 employees, set up tables in the distribution area, unpacked pallets of food, sorted food, distributed food to attendees as they moved through the distribution line, and participated in tear-down and cleanup.
