Ametek acquires Laserage Technology Corp.

Ametek Inc., Berwyn, Pa., has announced its acquisition of Laserage Technology Corp., a Waukegan, Ill.-based provider of laser fabrication of tube and flat stock for the medical device market. Laserage has manufacturing facilities in Waukegan and Milipitas, Calif.

The company joins Ametek as part of its Electromechanical Group (EMG). Ametek manufactures electronic instruments and electromechanical devices.
