ATS to hold technology and networking event April 30 and May 1

Advanced Technology Sales & Service Inc. will hold a two-day technology and networking event at its Greensboro, N.C., headquarters on April 30 and May 1, 2015. In addition to showing the newest metal fabrication and machining technology, the event will provide networking opportunities for OEMs and local suppliers.

The event will include an FMA Manufacturing Event for high school and college vocational students on April 30 from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. The students will learn about future employment and career opportunities in the manufacturing sector, see current technologies, and spend one-on-one time with application engineers.

Machines on display both days include a 4,000-W fiber laser, 6,000-W CO2 laser, vertical machining centers, a CNC turning center, hybrid and hydraulic CNC press brakes, a high-definition plasma cutting system, a waterjet system, and a metal finishing and deburring machine.
