ATW Companies relocates operations, hires account executive

ATW Companies has relocated its Metalform gun magazine manufacturing operation from New Britain, Conn., to its Warwick, R.I., facility for consolidation with ATW’s firearms and defense capabilities, which include precision CNC machining, metal injection molding (MIM), laser cutting, precision metal tubing, and stamping.

A.T. Wall, ATW's precision stamping and tube drawing subsidiary, acquired the gun magazine manufacturer in 2011.

The company has appointed Karl E. Hoffman as an account executive for the Metalform division, supporting manufacturing and sales of the gun magazines. Hoffman, who holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Suffolk University, serves as a National Rifle Association (NRA) firearms instructor, range safety officer, and certified referee and is a Rhode Island hunter education instructor.
