Automotive supplier expands operations in Michigan

PTM Corp. has announced the addition of a 600 ton Eagle press in its Fair Haven, Mich., metal stamping facility.

According to PTM sales manager Steve Kuhr, "The decision to purchase the new equipment was based on customer demand for stamped metal parts requiring larger press beds and higher tonnage."

PTM Vice President Donna Russell-Kuhr, said, "With overall bed dimensions of 144 in. by 54 in., this press doubles our tonnage capacity and is a perfect fit for many of our customer's needs, and we are excited to add this equipment to the press room at our plant in Fair Haven."

Founded by Charles T. Russell in 1972, PTM Corp.'s Fair Haven facility employs 120 personnel and supplies metal stampings, welded parts, and assemblies to industries throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. The facility houses production presses ranging in size from 60 to 600 tons and 16 four-slides ranging in size from #1 to #4.
