Bishop-Wisecarver earns Green Business certification

Bishop-Wisecarver Corp., Pittsburg, Calif., manufacturer of guided motion components and systems, has been certified as a Green Business through the Bay Area Green Business Program. The certification indicates that the company helps to strengthen and sustain the quality of the environment in Contra Costa County through policies and procedures that prevent pollution and conserve resources.

In preparation for the certification, the company underwent a complete Earth-friendly makeover, including the elimination of nonrecyclable packaging materials and installation of ENERGY STAR® electronic equipment.
