BouMatic to close several departments

BouMatic, a producer of milking equipment, stainless steel tanks, and chillers based in Madison, Wis., has announced plans to close its metal fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly departments at the end of December, permanently eliminating 59 jobs.

The plant will continue to employ chemical, rubber goods, and logistics employees.
