Bridge City Steel adds laser cutting system
Bridge City Steel, Portland, has added an Amada FOM2 4222 NT 6-kW laser for cutting mild steel up to 1.25 in. thick, aluminum up to 0.625 in. thick, and stainless steel up to 0.75 in. thick.
It features a power-saving Eco mode and water-assist cutting. The shuttle table has a cutting surface of 166.78 by 86.61 in.
The company produces laser-, plasma-, and flame-cut parts.
