Broadwind’s Heavy Industries division receives welding certification

Cicero, Ill.-based Broadwind Energy Inc. has announced that its Heavy Industries division has been certified through Caterpillar's 7 Steps to Welding Excellence training program. The certificate acknowledging this accomplishment was received in the company's Manitowoc, Wis., facility.

Broadwind Energy serves customers in the energy and infrastructure markets with such products as gears and gearing systems for wind, oil and gas, and mining applications; wind towers; specialty weldments; comprehensive remanufacturing of gearboxes and blades; and operations and maintenance services.
