C.H. Hanson observes 150th anniversary

C.H. Hanson, a family-run company for five generations, is observing its 150th anniversary. The official celebration is scheduled for Aug. 19 at its Naperville, Ill., headquarters.

The company manufactures and distributes more than 5,000 products worldwide, including stencils, tags, steel stamps, and metalworking machine tools, for a variety of applications.

Founded in 1866 in Chicago by Christian Henry Hanson, a Danish immigrant and stencil-maker, the firm moved to its present location in 2006. Today Phil Hanson serves as president and Craig Hanson is CEO.
