C.I. Hayes installs humpback conveyor belt furnace

C.I. Hayes, Cranston, R.I., a Gasbarre Furnace Group company that manufactures industrial vacuum and atmosphere heat-treating equipment, has announced the recent installation of a humpback conveyor belt furnace for brazing of stainless steel parts to be used in the electrical industry.

The furnace operates with low-dew-point hydrogen atmosphere and a maximum operating temperature of 2,100 degrees F. The furnace also includes a dew-point and oxygen monitoring system and communications that allow for remote login and troubleshooting.
