Caterpillar announces executive officer retirements, appointments

Caterpillar Inc., Peoria, Ill., has announced that Group Presidents Stu Levenick and Steve Wunning have decided to retire in early 2015. Levenick is responsible for customer and dealer support, while Wunning is responsible for resource industries.

The company has appointed current Group President Ed Rapp as Wunning’s replacement. Tom Pellette, currently a Caterpillar vice president and president of Solar Turbines Inc., will replace Rapp as group president with responsibility for construction industries. Rob Charter, currently vice president responsible for the excavation division, will replace Levenick.
