CB Fabricating expands facilities, production capacity

Anderson, Ind.-based sheet metal fabricator CB Fabricating Inc. has announced that in less than a year it has expanded its production capacity by 75 percent, added a second shift, and hired three full-time employees to meet growing demand from clients in multiple industries.

The firm added an Amada FO MII 3015 NT laser flex cell, with automated load/unload and remote monitoring, in October 2014, along with an Amada press brake. The company plans additional hires in 2015.

CB Fabricating has been selected as one of three finalists for the Small Business of the Year Award from the Madison County Chamber in Indiana. The award honors businesses of fewer than 100 employees, in existence for five years or more, that have excelled in visible growth and achievements, adhered to their brand promises, and invested in the community both through business and community support.
